At the Frankfurt Motor Show Volkswagen presented the Polo R WRC, a little car with a big 300Hp heart.And in case you were wondering it is now official, VW goes WRC.
What made them want to get in this kind of racing? Well the new regulations that say you need a 1.6l turbo engine and direct injection to race(of course this is all ecological, they also say it is about minimizing the costs but that didn`t stop anyone before these rules were in place)

The Volkswagen WRC car is build on a Polo, it has a 1.6l TSI engine that develops 300Hp and 350Nm of torque while it weighs 1200kg. Equipped with all wheel drive and a sequential transmission, the Polo will do some damage in the rally with a proper driver.
Of course it also meets the FIA security measures, from a rollcage, seats, 6point seat belts and other important elements.

Now we just have to wait and see when they`ll line up to the start line.

The driver had an aneurysm while driving and that caused it to go right at the truck.

The car looks so bad because the roof had to be taken of in order to get the driver out of the car and strait to the hospital.
If you wouldn`t have know about his problem and because of the fact that he had just received the car a few hours before the accident you`d say that he deserves it because money can`t buy you driving skills and you`re not entitled to do everything you want if you`ve got it.

Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Centennial Edition was just revealed and it celebrates 100years of Chevrolet racing.
This new Corvette includes special elements like the black color, unique design elements, latest gadgets in racing technology, special black rims and red painted brake calipers.
One of the most important element on the Corvette Z06 Centennial is the Magnetic Selective Ride Control system,said to be the “fastest-reacting suspension”.

The interior of the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Centennial Edition comes got a full leather treatment.

The first Centennial Corvette will be auctioned at Barrett-Jackson to help the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer.

This celebration car is based on the 3LZ factory model equipped with the Z07 power pack, carbon fiber hood and CFZ carbon pack.

Imperia GP is the latest creation of Imperia Automobiles, a car manufacturer from Belgium. This impressive car is a hybrid that is to get the factory back running as it was in 1950.
Imperia GP is a 2 door coupe with a classic look but filled with the latest gadgets out on the market.

Under the hood you can find a 1.6l 4 cylinder turbo engine that releases 156Kw and 260Nm of torque and another electric engine that gives an extra 100kw an 300Nm of torque, all connected to a 5speed gearbox.

Officials say the car can run 70km on the electric engine only.

Mini Coupe will go into production this fall and next year you will be able to buy one. The concept was announced in 2009 and now they decided to sell it. At first you`d think it`s a hard top convertible but it is not.
Mini Coupe will have the same overcharged 1.6l engine but it will also get special treatments by John Cooper Works.

The British at Noble have been trying for some time to get a good enough product to fit the supercar class. Every time someone has something to say and not in their favor: the car isn`t performant enough, lack of maneuverability, to few gadgets and most of the times the looks.

Noble M600 Carbon is their latest creation and on the performance part nobody can argue. The beast has 650Hp and a power to weight ratio better than the BUgatti Veryron, weighing only 1225kg because it is made out of carbon fiber. The brakes are ceramic,no ABS and it has a manual 6speed gearbox.

Inside, Noble M600 Carbon has an interesting button that for most people will seem like a rocket activation button but for those that really know what it is all about it is the traction control desactivation button.

The new Aston Martin Vantage GT4 2011 comes with an V12 Vantage influence that gives it better aerodynamics. The Vantage GT4 2011 comes with a 4.7l engine that releases a great load of Hp and torque. Sadly the precise numbers haven`t been released yet.
This version borrowed elements off the V8 Vantage like the aluminum chassis, suspension system and base engine. Unlike previous years, now competitors can take a decision on including BOSCH ABS or Traction control system, systems designed just for the Vantage GT4 by Bosch Motorsport in order to gain best performance in any weather conditions.

Until now Aston Martin Vantage GT4 2011 has been soled to over 80 people all over the world.
