The new Volkswagen Passat changes a lot in comparison with the previous generation. The new lines come were already seen on the Scirocco, Golf, Polo and Phaeton.
As the previous generation,the new one will have a few engines both diesel and petrol.The new Volkswagen Passat will start at 105Hp and go up to 300Hp. The base engine being a 1.6l TDI 105Hp and 250Nm of torque with a consumption of 4.2l/100km
The other engines are as follows:

Petrol – 1.4 TSI (122 HP), 1.8 TSI (160 HP), 2.0 TSI (211 HP), V6 (300 HP)

DIESEL – 1.6 TDI (105 HP), 2.0 TDI (140 HP), 2.0 BlueTDI (140 HP), 2.0 TDI (170 HP)

ECOFUEL – GPL

MULTIFUEL – Etanol, 1.4 TSI 160 HP MultiFuel Twincharger (only for Sweden and Norway)

Volkswagen announced that the new Passat will introduce new technologies like the City Automatic Emergency Braking and a sensor that measures the drivers tiredness level.

Infiniti IPL G Convertible Concept photos were released. The car will debut at the Paris Motor Show and it comes with a streamlined design, high performance out of a V6, 19″ alloy rims, new evacuation system and suspension, a retractable hardtop and a full red leather interior

“The Infiniti Performance Line is designed to push the premium performance envelope for buyers seeking a higher level of exclusivity and driving exhilaration,” said Infiniti Vice President Ben Poore. “IPL promises unique driving attributes from other Infiniti models, without adding stratospheric prices.”

Infiniti IPL G Convertible Concept is the next model in the Infiniti Performance line. The first will be available in 2011, it is the IPL G coupe which will be equipped with a 3.7l V6 with 348Hp. This model will be a limited edition.

Rumors say that Jeep Wrangler Pickup will be released in 2012. They evolved out of a discussion about introducing into production a model inspired by the Gladiator concept(you can see it in the pics).
The platform for the Jeep Pickup might be taken from the next generation Wrangler. This new generation will debut next year and will have many technical improvements.

The Jeep Gladiator Concept had a material roof and a folding windshield, elements created to honor the Jeep Gladiator made between 1962-1970.

One of the greatest accident just happened at Silverstone.
Caroline Grifnee had a huge accident during the Renault Eurocup Megane Trophy at Silverstone. Fortunately she got out the scrambled metal unharmed thanks to the roll-cage that is necessary on these cars. We`re afraid to think about what could have happened if there would have been a fire and she didn`t get out in time.
Thank god for safety measures.

Mercedes CL63 AMG 2011 images have just been released. It is similar to the CL63 AMG, the differences being very subtle. The things that can be noticed at a first look are the chromed diffuser and front air splitter which on the CL63 are black.

Mercedes CL65 AMG 2011 hides under the hood a 6l V12 that releases 630Hp and 1000Nm of torque. As usual the top speed was limited to 250km/h but it breaches 100km/h in 4.4s.

The price of the Mercedes CL65 AMG 2011 goes up from 191.450Euro.

With the launch of the One-77 supercar, a limited edition that will have only 77 cars, Aston Martin will have the most powerful naturally aspired engine in the world. Aston Martin One-77 will have a v12 7.3l engine that will develop 750Hp and 749Nm of torque.

Aston Martin confirmed that half of the cars are already reserved, the clients paying an advance for the car.First deliveries will start early next year.

Peugeot decided to celebrate 200years of building cars at the Paris Motor Show. The manufacturer will present it`s newest concept called EX1.
Peugeot EX1 is a futuristic model, equipped with two electric engines that release 340Hp and 240Nm of torque. The engines move all 4 wheels at the same time offering 4×4 traction.

Peugeot EX1 has many new elements like special doors, no fenders and no windshield.The car has two seats placed in a protection cell specially created for passengers.
